“Skinny” Ground Beef Taco Bowl is an Ideal Protein Phase 1 Weight Loss Meal

This meal contains 1.8 cup select vegetables, .2 cup occasional vegetables with no olive oil used.
It has only 10 net carbs, 6 grams of fat and 226 calories for the 4 oz. size. So, it’s a great low carb and low fat meal. It’s sure to satisfy you, while facilitating weight loss. What makes this a Phase 1 meal?
In a traditional taco bowl meal you’ll enjoy things like sour cream, cheddar cheese and Mexican rice in our Phase 3 meals. I know you’re probably missing these if you’ve been in Phase 1 for a while. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy this meal or many others with a few substitutions and omissions. The Phase 1 taco bowl meal has all the flavors of Mexico with lean ground beef and select vegetables. Sautéed onions are omitted in Phase 1 but you won’t even realize they’re missing. Instead of Mexican rice, we’ve added Mexican cauliflower rice. Once you’re ready to move to Phase 3 check out our Ground Beef Taco Bowl with sour cream, cheese, and Mexican Brown rice added.
