Phase 1 of the Ideal Protein does not allow fats of any kind, except for limited olive oil. This includes avocados. Traditional guacamole is high in fats and is made with avocados. However, our Chef’s prepare our mockamole with steamed asparagus. Asparagus is a select vegetable and Phase 1 of the diet allows asparagus. Our chef’s prepare mockamole with steamed asparagus along with the same ingredients as guacamole. These ingredients include diced tomatoes, cilantro, lime juice, and Mexican seasonings. Even if you’re not a fan of asparagus, our Mockamole may just surprise you! Eaten paired with salsa and the Naked Burrito, it’s a great phase 1 meal.
